Privacy Policy

We believe your musical creativity belongs solely to you. V-Organ operates locally on your device with no user accounts, no server uploads of your performance, and offline audio synthesis. Third-party advertising via Google AdMob is described below.

No Accounts or Music Uploads

V-Organ requires no account and never uploads your performances, MIDI, presets, or local files. Google AdMob may process device and advertising data to serve ads.

Local Synthesis

All synthesis engines, MIDI processing, rhythm style generation, and EQ adjustments run 100% on your device hardware.

Network Only for Downloads

Internet access is used exclusively when you explicitly browse and download additional rhythm styles or custom SoundFont files.

Overview & Scope

This Privacy Policy governs the mobile application V-Organ on Android (Package: com.kyoviet.sound) and iOS (Bundle ID: kyoviet97.vorgan.instrument), developed and published by the V-Organ Team ("we", "our", or "us").

By installing and using V-Organ, you agree to the terms outlined in this document. We do not build user profiles or record your musical performances; however, advertising is provided through Google AdMob and may process data as described in Section 5.

Information We Do Not Collect Directly

V-Organ does not require an account and does not directly collect, store, or transmit the following content. This section does not limit the separate data processing by Google AdMob described in Section 5:

  • Personal Identification: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account logins.
  • Cloud Profiles: User accounts, cloud backups of presets, or a server-side history of your performances.
  • Musical Input: Notes played, MIDI performances, audio output, custom presets, and local style files.
  • Contacts & Personal Media: Your contact list, photos, videos, and files other than a SoundFont or style file you explicitly select to import.

Device Features & Their Purpose

To deliver real-time musical performance and optional downloadable content, V-Organ uses only the device features necessary for the actions you choose. Android and iOS present system controls differently.

INTERNET

Style & SoundFont Download Library

Used only when you browse and download optional musical styles or SoundFont extensions. On iOS, you may also explicitly choose a local .sf2 file through Apple's document picker. No musical data is uploaded from your device.

WAKE_LOCK

Prevent Audio Dropout During Performance

The app may keep the display awake while you are actively performing on the keyboard or while a style rhythm is playing, helping prevent audio interruption.

USB / MIDI

USB / Bluetooth MIDI Controller Support

Allows you to connect external MIDI keyboards and pedal controllers to play V-Organ voices. On iOS this uses CoreMIDI. All MIDI signals are processed locally in memory.

Local Data Storage & Customization

Any content created or downloaded within V-Organ is stored strictly within the app's local private sandbox directory on your Android or iOS device:

  • Downloaded Styles (.style): Stored locally so you can play rhythms offline without re-downloading.
  • SoundFont Extensions (.sf2): Stored locally to expand your musical instrument bank.
  • User Settings: Equalizer presets, MIDI Control Change (CC) mappings, chord configurations, and screen brightness preferences.

You maintain full control: clearing app data in Android Settings, removing the app from iOS, or uninstalling V-Organ permanently erases locally stored styles and settings from your device.

Third-Party Services & Advertising

V-Organ uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google may process device identifiers (including the Advertising ID or IDFA when available and permitted), IP-derived coarse location, advertising data, product interaction data, and diagnostic data to deliver and measure ads. Depending on your settings and region, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

On iOS, V-Organ requests permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before tracking. You can deny or change this permission at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android, you can manage ad preferences in Settings > Google > Ads. We do not share your musical performances, custom presets, or local files with advertisers. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)

V-Organ is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Because the app displays third-party advertising, a parent or guardian should supervise use by children and contact us if they believe a child has provided personal information to us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally if we introduce new features (such as audio recording export). Whenever changes occur, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of the application constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
