Privacy Policy
We believe music creation should be private. V-Organ processes music synthesis locally on your device and does not create user accounts or upload your musical performances. The app uses Google AdMob to display ads; its data practices are explained below.
No Accounts or Music Uploads
V-Organ does not require an account and does not upload your performances, MIDI input, presets, or local music files. Google AdMob may process limited device and advertising data to display ads.
Local Audio & MIDI
All synthesizer engines, MIDI controller mappings, styles, and equalizer adjustments are processed in real-time on your device's processor.
Optional Downloads Only
Internet connection is used exclusively when you explicitly initiate downloads for new musical styles or SoundFont extensions from our style library.
Overview & Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the V-Organ mobile application for Android (package name: com.kyoviet.sound) and iOS (bundle identifier: kyoviet97.vorgan.instrument), developed and maintained by the V-Organ Team ("we", "us", or "our").
By installing and using V-Organ, you agree to the practices described in this policy. We do not create user profiles or collect your musical performances; however, advertising is provided through Google AdMob, which may process data as described in Section 5.
Information We Do Not Collect Directly
V-Organ does not require an account and does not directly collect, store, or transmit the following content. This section does not limit the separate data processing by Google AdMob described in Section 5:
- Personal Identification: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account logins.
- Cloud Profiles: User accounts, cloud backups of presets, or a server-side history of your performances.
- Musical Input: Notes played, MIDI performances, audio output, custom presets, and local style files.
- Contacts & Personal Media: Your contact list, photos, videos, and files other than a SoundFont or style file you explicitly select to import.
Device Features & Their Purpose
To deliver real-time musical performance and optional downloadable content, V-Organ uses only the device features necessary for the actions you choose. Android and iOS present system controls differently.
Local Data Storage & Customization
Any content created or downloaded within V-Organ is stored strictly within the app's local private sandbox directory on your Android or iOS device:
- Downloaded Styles (.style): Stored locally so you can play rhythms offline without re-downloading.
- SoundFont Extensions (.sf2): Stored locally to expand your musical instrument bank.
- User Settings: Equalizer presets, MIDI Control Change (CC) mappings, chord configurations, and screen brightness preferences.
💡 You maintain full control: clearing app data in Android Settings, removing the app from iOS, or uninstalling V-Organ permanently erases locally stored styles and settings from your device.
Third-Party Services & Advertising
V-Organ uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google may process device identifiers (including the Advertising ID or IDFA when available and permitted), IP-derived coarse location, advertising data, product interaction data, and diagnostic data to deliver and measure ads. Depending on your settings and region, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.
On iOS, V-Organ requests permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before tracking. You can deny or change this permission at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android, you can manage ad preferences in Settings > Google > Ads. We do not share your musical performances, custom presets, or local files with advertisers. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)
V-Organ is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Because the app displays third-party advertising, a parent or guardian should supervise use by children and contact us if they believe a child has provided personal information to us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally if we introduce new features (such as audio recording export). Whenever changes occur, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of the application constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
