We believe music creation should be private. V-Organ is built from the ground up to respect your privacy, collect zero personal data, and process all sound synthesis locally on your device.
Zero Data Harvested
We do not collect names, email addresses, device IDs, location data, or any personal telemetry. Your identity remains 100% anonymous.
Local Audio & MIDI
All synthesizer engines, MIDI controller mappings, styles, and equalizer adjustments are processed in real-time on your device's processor.
Optional Downloads Only
Internet connection is used exclusively when you explicitly initiate downloads for new musical styles or SoundFont extensions from our style library.
Overview & Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the V-Organ mobile application (package name: com.kyoviet.sound), developed and maintained by the V-Organ Team ("we", "us", or "our").
By installing and using V-Organ, you agree to the practices described in this policy. Our overarching philosophy is simple: we do not want, need, or collect your personal data.
Information We Do NOT Collect
Unlike many modern applications, V-Organ does not integrate analytics trackers, advertising networks, or background telemetry. Specifically, we do NOT collect, store, or transmit:
- Personal Identification: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account logins.
- Audio & Performance Recordings: Any notes played, MIDI performances, or audio output from the organ synthesizer.
- Device & Location Data: GPS coordinates, IP address logging, IMEI, or persistent advertising identifiers.
- Contacts & Media: Access to your personal photos, videos, or contact lists.
Android Permissions & Their Purpose
To deliver real-time musical performance and optional downloadable content, V-Organ requests the minimum necessary Android system permissions:
Local Data Storage & Customization
Any content created or downloaded within V-Organ is stored strictly within the app's local private sandbox directory on your Android device:
- Downloaded Styles (.style): Stored locally so you can play rhythms offline without re-downloading.
- SoundFont Extensions (.sf2): Stored locally to expand your musical instrument bank.
- User Settings: Equalizer presets, MIDI Control Change (CC) mappings, chord configurations, and screen brightness preferences.
💡 You maintain full control: clearing app data in your Android Settings or uninstalling V-Organ will permanently erase all locally stored styles and settings from your device.
Third-Party Services & Advertising
We may use third-party advertising services (such as Google AdMob) to display advertisements within V-Organ to support app development. These advertising providers may automatically collect and process certain non-personal device information, including your device's Advertising ID (AAID), IP address, and general device metrics, to serve non-personalized or personalized ads.
We do not share your musical performances, custom presets, or local files with advertisers. You can manage your ad preferences, opt out of personalized advertising, or reset your Advertising ID anytime in your Android Device Settings (Settings > Google > Ads). Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)
Because V-Organ collects absolutely no personal data from any user, our application is fully compliant with children's privacy regulations including the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR-K). People of all ages can safely use V-Organ to learn and play music.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally if we introduce new features (such as audio recording export). Whenever changes occur, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of the application constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
